Christopher Nichols is the Chief Financial Officer at Berkshire, overseeing corporate finance, tax, internal audit, and information technology. He also serves as a member of Berkshire’s Operating, Compliance, and Investment Committees, and is a member of the senior leadership team. Mr. Nichols serves as chair of the IT steering committee and vice chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. He has been with the company since 1999, with previous roles as Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.
Before joining Berkshire, Christopher served as Accounting Manager and later Corporate Controller for Mac-Gray Corporation, previously an NYSE-listed company. He also served as Senior Staff Auditor for Mullen & Company.
Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley College. He holds Associate Degrees in Computer Information Systems and Electrical Engineering and is a Certified Public Accountant.
