Jon Pfeil is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of Berkshire’s debt strategies, which focus on making multifamily debt investments across the capital stack. He also serves as a member of Berkshire’s Investment Committee for vehicles executing a debt strategy and is a partner in the company’s ownership. Jon has nearly two decades of experience in the multifamily real estate business exclusively focused on multifamily debt, with a particular focus on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
Prior to joining Berkshire, Jon was a Principal at Ranieri Real Estate Partners, where he led the acquisition, operations and disposition of Berkeley Point Capital, a multifamily mortgage finance platform. He previously spent a combined 7 years with Berkshire Mortgage Finance, L.P., a former affiliate of Berkshire, and with its successor, Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, in several roles culminating with Vice President in Deutsche Bank AG’s Commercial Real Estate Group.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
