What We Look For
We seek to invest in debt opportunities throughout the capital stack that are collateralized by well-located residential assets with experienced sponsors, including apartments, senior housing, student housing, manufactured housing and military housing. Berkshire has the ability to leverage distinctive characteristics in sourcing and underwriting debt investment opportunities – our vertically-integrated platform and prior ownership of Berkshire Mortgage Finance. We utilize our robust investment experience and broad national platform to implement a comprehensive due diligence and investment management process. Investments in this strategy may include:
