As Head of Capital Markets, Michael Coffey leads all capital formation, business development and client relations activities at Berkshire. He also serves as a member of Berkshire’s Investment Committee, Leadership Team and is a partner in the company’s ownership.
Prior to joining Berkshire, he was at Greenhill & Co. in the firm’s Real Estate Capital Advisory Group and was actively involved in raising institutional capital for a range of real estate investment strategies and capital structures. He previously held positions in the Commercial Real Estate Finance Group at Guggenheim Partners and at Credit Suisse where he was a member of both the Real Estate Private Fund Group and the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group.
